Faculty Council elections: Stand for election!

Faculty Council elections are coming up!

As a member of the Faculty Council you give solicited and unsolicited advice to the Faculty Board. It is also possible to propose your own topics as a council, which are then discussed in the Faculty Council meetings with the Faculty Board. In addition, the council has the right of consent on important topics such as the OER and the Faculty Distribution Model.

The upcoming elections are for both the student section, which take their seats for one year, and the staff section, which take their seats for two years. Staff and students can stand for election by joining an existing list or creating their own list. If you are interested, would like to have more information or would like to stand for election, please go to the election page or email the chairs of the current council:

You can submit your own list from Tuesday, March 7 to Thursday, April 6, 2023. If you wish to join an existing list the deadline is set by the list itself and therefore varies, please note that this is likely to be earlier than the deadline for submitting your own list.
